This course is designed to provide the student with a basic technical understanding of flux core arc welding, welding safety, equipment adjustments and shielding gases. It also provides training to develop the skill necessary to make quality Flux Core arc welds on mild steel from 1/4” to 1” plate, single and multiple pass welds as well as producing stringer and weave beads using dual shield or inner shielded wire.
