American Welding Society (AWS) is devoted to promoting welding and welding related processes and supporting all who contribute to the welding industry. AWS also aids in advancing the science, technology, and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes, including brazing, soldering, and thermal spraying.

American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) distributes codes and standards, used around the world for the design, manufacturing and installation of mechanical devices. It produces approximately 600 codes and standards, covering many technical areas, such as boiler components, elevators, measurement of fluid flow in closed conduits, cranes, hand tools, fasteners, and machine tools.

American Petroleum Institute API) is the largest U.S trade association for the oil and natural gas industry. The association’s chief functions on behalf of the industry include advocacy and negotiation with governmental, legal, and regulatory agencies; research into economic, toxicological, and environmental effects; establishment and certification of industry standards.

Both Vermont and Wisconsin campuses have CWI’s on site for all your testing and certification needs. Our Vermont campus is Vermont’s only AWS, ATF. Our Wisconsin campus has a Certified Weld Test Conductor on site.
